Had another query;
Damping, mass loading, stuffing are okay to add as those have to be.
What about cone slicing? A-OK?
It is a cool challenge. It reminds me of college days when I did not waste building materials. Yes I went to college. Sort of.

Nope. Just likely won’t be wood waveguides since material is short in supply. But you may surprise me and be able anyway.
How about the driver/port/terminal cup cutout pieces? Is that required to be used somehow?

I’d quarter the rounds and reinforce corners.

I might be ok to try that with a woofer hole blank. Smaller ones would just be unsafe to cut without a more specialized clamping jig.
Bandsaw
So driver cutouts, etc., also have to go back into the mix?
For those who don’t have a bandsaw, a miter box and coping saw is the cheap solution.
Off Topic, but I started a thread at PETT in 2021 on “How useful is a bandsaw”. I ended up getting a Rikon bandsaw on sale at Menards and use it all the time for cutting things like ports/PVC and small wood/MDF pieces.

I anticipate my 2027 theme build to look like this… Woofer cutout on top, tweeter cutout on bottom side, terminal cup cutout upper side corner. To counter the ugliness, I’ll make it piano gloss black.

You guys are not thinking about this in the right frame of reference. They are not meant to be eyesores.
Use a tweeter cutout as inner port flare.
Use woofer or tweeter rounds quartered for reinforcement, or cabinet feet.
Don’t use terminal cups, just use posts.
If small enough cabinet like Dan’s NRNP, woofer covers the end of the volume without an end, there is no center remaining.
Waste not, want not.

Limiting to two 2’x4’ pieces seemed interesting. The rest, no. I have my construction methods and I have zero interest to change that. Because I have many reasons I do things the way I do. Guess I’m sitting this one out. Again

I am thinking about using two pieces of OSB 24x48 laminated with a 1/8 thick resawn wood quartersawn and spliced. Mitered corners with an 1/8 inch radius. The triangular off fall could be glued randomly to the interior for diffusion
