Three enclosures together. Still in developmental stage but is showing some promise. More adjustments need to be made to help with cabinet resonances and the upper MTM lobing. The current crossover is passive 3rd ord at 4K wich is 3/4 wavelength driver spacing. The lower mids are doing baffle step duties in the DSP, first ord. 1K. The woofers are cheap GRS 6.5 low profile and are driven one channel each and low passed at 150 4th ord. They are Tline with a single fold at the top.Tuned around 40Hz
Neat, Eggman! Keep it up!
Yeah!! That’s super neato looking![]()
Watching with great interest - as I have been pondering what I want to do with a box of 2” Tectonic drivers.
Cool build!
Yes endgame on the robots maybe. Robots do what they are told unless they are told to do otherwise.
I have a year to work on them, The push facing push woofers in TLines don’t seem to be good for more than tuning times two. The nearfield woof measurement is not a whole lot different from the terminus output. It’s weird.
Do you get any diffraction off that tape?
Just Kidding, prototyping quickly is great
He was good enough. I am pleased to announce that he now has a new temporary home.
Cheap 8 inch woofer inspired design. Can be powered by either a 4 chan Bluetooth amp or hybrid with a 2 chan amp on the woofers. Very low on the WAF but doesn’t matter to some.
