# Handle/Moniker/Avatar/Screenname + "Piece of pie"

What does the slice of pie/cake next to my screenname mean? I tried googling it because it isn’t able to be clicked. It came up with a Reddit post saying it’s for an anniversary date of when joined the forum.
Has this MAC2 forum been active for a year yet? I don’t know what else it could be.

I think that’s it, I got one too. When I hover the mouse over it, it says ‘one year since joining’ or similar

I believe the slice of pie will only show up for 24 hours, exactly on the anniversary day of when you joined. The new firum opened approximately a year ago. I had the slice of pie yesterday.

The SLICE of pie only lasts one day. Ron\_E and 6thplanet should have had the slice yesterday, Wolf would have it today. The WHOLE pie is a badge, once you get it, you keep it.

My grandmother was an awful cook, an attribute which got worse as she got older, but well done for being able to look after herself. She made an apple pie once which had layers of pastry which she’d rolled out with grease-proof paper between the layers…but she forgot to remove the paper before cooking it. Bleah…
Anyway, thank you for the pie badge and of course thank you to all who have made the past year so interesting, enjoyable and friendly
