Just read that myself….
what i am interested in is, how did they solve the stereo latency. till now wireless was mostly multi-room, where a few ms latency didn’t cause any obvious issue. Wiim is also pushing it’s wireless HT, again for surround sound, may not be noticeable - the main stereo L/R is still wired and hence no latency. The article doesn’t explicitly states this is good for stereo listing and imaging, but the setup looks like it is for stereo, and does it come with just one amp module - how do i setup stereo? or this is an extension of the multi room mono speaker - the article is very hazy as to the actual application.
This is interesting to me as I’m seriously considering the WiiM ‘surround sound’ setup, which would include a WiiM Amp Ultra (owned, wired L/R), a WiiM amp of some variety (Center), and the WiiM speakers (surrounds). The latency shouldn’t be an issue for the surrounds I imagine, but the center is kinda important.
