I’ll start. My wife and kids got me these Tees:
I also got a hoodie emblazoned with the lyrics to one of my favorite songs, thats pretty cool.
Love those shirts! They got a good laugh from my wife & son.
I love The Tragically Hip! It makes me sad & mad that I didn’t learn about them until after Gord passed away.
I discovered them watching a Trailer Park Boys movie. I was also saddened when Gord passed away.
OMG I’m probably going to wake up my wife laughing ![]()
My wife got me a Bora Centipede work table that I can use with my track saw.
I hadn’t seen those. That would be a great thing to have out in the garage!
I have been very good this year. My wife wrapped up a box that was mostly packing except for some new car brochures. She wants to buy me a car of my choosing and she wants it to be nice.
I gave her flowers, a puzzle, a crossword puzzle book and puzzle a day calendar, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Christmas trees.
Should have both next week .
Wife left me…
…for the holidays, 2000 miles away helping with newborn twin grandkids. ![]()
So I bought myself a new Multimeter and a pair of tweeters. ![]()
The wife and I bought a dishwasher back during black Friday. We’ve lived here for 8 year’s and one that came with the house never worked. I’ve been doing dishes by hand my whole life… literally since I could reach the sink.
So to see where it’s at, pretty much every day it’s been used since. Looks like it costs about $15 more in water and about the same in sewer…
$30 a month for the convenience of not hand washing dishes…plus of course the grand spent on it. Merry Christmas:man_shrugging:t2:
My dishwasher is also dysfunctional.
I got a few Amazon gift cards, so I just ordered a Raspberry Pi 5 and associated parts to build a Linux machine for my electronics bench. m.2 drives have doubled in price since the last time I bought one.
There was a super cheap dishwasher in the house when I bought 30+ years ago. Super loud but It worked great for 20+ years, then died. We bought a super expensive dishwasher to replace it. We loved that unit… it was so quiet you had to put your hand on it to make sure it was actually running. It died exactly one month after the 5 year warranty. Then next one (Whirlpool) was ok for a $700 unit. It died 4 weeks ago. My son and I just installed a new Maytag unit last weekend. I hope we get at least 5 years out of it. It’s pretty quiet, rated at 47 dB with a full stainless steel tub. We really like the adjustable racks.
