I had these at the 2023 Indiyana gathering. Since then I have been playing them in my 2nd system setup. I sit 10 feet away, the room is 20 X 22 feet, and I am hitting peaks of 102 db with no harshness at all.
My calculations say 112 db at 3 ft per pair which is exactly what was predicted.
Bass drum is punching me in the chest!
Still sounds great at this level. With Rock and Metal, it can get very nasty sounding real quick. That tells me I have the crossover right. Even when I stand up, not much of a difference at all. I only had about an hour to listen to them before going to bed, when I finished them. Bringing them to InDIYana, made me hope my ears were right. They were, AFA I am concerned. I had my doubts!
