Its funny for us that know, but I wonder how many people don’tknow how bad this is.
Did you know wireless phone charging is just microwaves? You can do the same with your microwave in the kitchen. 
All info isn’t always good info. Sometimes just flat wrong.
I mean, that video isn’t all bad, has a bit of merit.
When I crimp normal spade connectors on, to prep the wire, I’ll strip enough to twist it and fold it back on itself. Most blue barreled crimp terminals have enough opening to do that with an 18 awg wire.
Of course some will say you shouldn’t twist the strands of wire.
I do the same thing.
I dont care do what you want, this is the “by the book” instructions:
Twisting should be limited to 1 twist per inch. Wires should not be folded in a crimp, when the wires break at the fold it releases the pressure of the crimp. Use the correct gauge terminal for the wire or in a pinch double the wires going into the terminal and cap the extra wire.
This is the correct way, anything elese is a comprimise you can choose to make or not.
