Anybody here done 3D design of waveguides?
Kinda, i have made a few but havent realy tested the results JR is about to get a pair from me we will see how that goes.

I had some time off today and decided to do some surfing. I noticed that the vast majority, if not all, drivers are made to be flush mounted. I started looking for waveguides with tapered edges to make it easier to mount and looked finished.
I don’t know how easy it is to modify a waveguide from an *.stl file, but Somasonus has waveguides for a lot of popular tweeters. I would think the easiest route, if any of those tweeters in a waveguide meets your needs, is to just have someone modify one of those existing files to be reasonably surface mounted.
For example, the SB26ADC/CDC performs very well in his waveguide.
