Maybe tried to use coats that were too thick? Thinner coats will help keep it from running like that.

I’m fairly bad at spray painting as well and often get runs just like this. Because of this, what I like to do is set up a test piece of the same material and place it off to the side. Then I begin by spray painting just the test piece, setting my hvlp controls for pressure and fan shape. At the same time, I watch to see how thick I can spray the paint before I get a bad run. The point at which it begins to run will vary with how much the paint is thinned out, outside temperature, relative humidity, hvlp gun pressure settings, etc. Once I know where the “run point” is, I begin spraying the actual cabinet. I try to keep an overlapping wet edge without pushing it to the “run point.” I still get runs now and then. But I’m getting better at it each time.

Im going to sand it back down re-spray base, pearl, and clear. My plan is to be a little further away with faster passes. Lol luckily the center channel didnt get runs.
You may be able to sand those drips down with a hard block. If you don’t bust through into the color, another couple coats of clear back over after might save it.
The issue is the pearl coat is what I have runs in. I might be able to sand down to the white and re-spray. We will see.

Yeah, man, if you have runs in the base coat you should never put the clear coat on.
Base coat, you don’t need to pile it on. Light coats until you get what you want. Be patient.
Let the paint set for at least 2 days unless you can bake it .
Lay 3 coats of clear max. Very light. Let it cure fore 2-3 days.
You can sand it with 1500 after that. Spray three more layers of clear.
Repeat until you get what you want.
