I’m selling, ideally as a turnkey multisub setup for someone relatively starting out (or wants to experiment with multisubs inexpensively) and able to pick up from Chicago, 4x Triad Bronze powered subs.
The Triad Bronze is a solid well-braced smallish closed box sub with a really nice Peerless XLS10 woofer, with an (I think) 250W/8 ohm rated class AB amp. Condition isn’t the greatest (these have moved quite a bit), and most recently were in our old guest room supporting a pair of Revel M126Be. But we just don’t have room for them in the new house.
While this setup probably isn’t for the enthusiast who buys subs to listen to action movies at reference volume, if you’re looking for full scale music reproduction with consistent and tuneful bass around the room these are fantastic.
I could add in a miniDSP 2x4HD at fair market value. You could also deploy these using the principles Duke developed for his Audiokenesis Swarm multisub system. Also, as an aside, the ScanSpeak Discovery 10" sub (which is an evolution of the XLS10) is a drop in replacement if one is so inclined. (The Tymphany SDF is not, unless you do surgery on the bracing.)
