FS: 8x Icepower 125ASX2 - $75 ea

Ground bonding is done through mounting points of IcePower modules, at least it is on the 700AS varients.

So a bottom alu mounting plate with the ground wire would work. The rest of the the can can be wood, plastic, acrylic.

Little off topic continued, attaching f3d files exported from Fusion360 - curious if that the way to share files from fusion. I continually mark projects as read only since free non-commercial use limits to 10 editable files and still so much to learn on that product. These are just 2 drawings one for blank plate and other with cutouts for iec, xlr’s, toggle switch, binding posts and rca’s. Could post amzn links for each part.

deleted cumbersome .f3d zip file and attached zip of step files below

The internet says you can export Fusion files to FreeCad.

" To export from Fusion 360 to FreeCAD, open your model in Fusion 360, go to File > Export, choose STEP as the file type, and click Export. STEP (.stp) is a universal format that FreeCAD can import well, ensuring your model’s geometry is preserved without the feature history of the original F3D file."

If you want to post the files in STEP format I can give it a try.

Doh, my ignorant self didnt even know Fusion opens step files where had wanted to look at the somasonus waveguides in fusion to see if able to hack up via cad.

Anyway, attaching the basic front and blank panel i had used for the cheapo amzn case in zipped step files.

amzn-blue-4chan-blankplate.zip (25.7 KB)

I have found that you can open almost any file in Tinker CAD and then export from there to a .F3D.

I could import the step files into FreeCad but they don’t show any dimensions.

Yes, please put in the links, some components may not fit if they are from different brands, etc.

Dug these links out of my amazon order history

Are you also going to add XLR? You mentioned you like some budget ones

Yeah will install when get my order from PE but not in rush since primary use will be 4 channel. I’ve often used the simplest ones from PE, search for Neutrik NC3FPP.
Or have used these from amazon, Amazon.com: 3-Pin XLR Female Jack Panel Mount Chassis Audio Jack Socket Connector Adapters, Pack of 4 : Musical Instruments But those I usually lightly drill the lip of the mount holes that are meant to recess into panel surface, know they fit too since patterned off previous amp backplate made last winter. Some of the other nicer xlr chassis jacks get janky with notches etc.

While a little more expensive, I like these. But I also don’t like soldering.

The HA (crimp connector) ones are nice too, but I wouldn’t use them unless you have the Rennsteig/Knipex crimp frame and Neutrik HA-1 (or Rennsteig equivalent; don’t remember the p/n but can check mine if anyone wants to know)
