What does the slice of pie/cake next to my screenname mean? I tried googling it because it isn’t able to be clicked. It came up with a Reddit post saying it’s for an anniversary date of when joined the forum.
Has this MAC2 forum been active for a year yet? I don’t know what else it could be.
Thanks.
I think that’s it, I got one too. When I hover the mouse over it, it says ‘one year since joining’ or similar
I like pie - especially pumpkin pie with ice cream and coffee!
Weird, I just got the anniversary award for being here a year. No cake next to mine.
The Discourse launch must have been a year ago. Not sure how you score the pie icon though.
I want a piece of pie too - chocolate silk for me!
I also earned the Devotee thing. I always check this site 2 or 3 times a day.
I believe the slice of pie will only show up for 24 hours, exactly on the anniversary day of when you joined. The new firum opened approximately a year ago. I had the slice of pie yesterday.
Got this today.
This badge is granted when you’ve been a member for a year with at least one post in that year. Thank you for sticking around and contributing to our community. We couldn’t do it without you.
The SLICE of pie only lasts one day. Ron_E and 6thplanet should have had the slice yesterday, Wolf would have it today. The WHOLE pie is a badge, once you get it, you keep it.
My grandmother was an awful cook, an attribute which got worse as she got older, but well done for being able to look after herself. She made an apple pie once which had layers of pastry which she’d rolled out with grease-proof paper between the layers…but she forgot to remove the paper before cooking it. Bleah…
Anyway, thank you for the pie badge and of course thank you to all who have made the past year so interesting, enjoyable and friendly
