I have tried connecting a laptop to my Samsung TV/monitor via HDMI port and can’t get You Tube Free Movies to play while all other You Tube content will play through the Brave Web browser.

Those same movies play fine on the PC when the TV/monitor is disconnected.

Is there a work-around for this or is it a function of the Copyright protection seeing the TV differently than the laptop screen?

Seems weird to me and I thought I would make a project of doing surround sound speakers using DSP with multiple amps over the winter.

I should have spent more time troubleshooting before posting this; I found out that Brave Browser isn’t supported (apparently) and tried MS Edge and it works then found the YT App and installed it and all works well with my TV monitor now.

Sorry for the “off Topic” topic - now, back to your regularly scheduled programming . . .

Brave auto-blocks YT ads. Probably something to do with that.
