I’m using a Google Pixel 8 Pro, which can do 4k 60fps video and 50 meg optical stills using the pro settings. I reduce the hi rez 50 meg stills quite a bit before I post to the forum, in an effort to save server space. This softens the detail just a tad, but the originals are super sharp. They can match or even beat the sharpness of my Nikon D800 full-frame DSLR in side-by-side comparisons. The main difference is that the Nikon D800 pics have more of a creamy texture, compared to the Pixel 8’s more “contrasty” type look. Also, the D800 has much better bokeh and can defocus the background in a way that the Pixel 8 cannot. This gives the pictures more of a professional look and feel. I can use post processing to blur the background, but it doesn’t seem to look as good.
The Pixel can blur the background all by itself.

You can adjust how much blur and how deep.
That’s really cool!

Here is a 4K60 room flyby video Bryan shot with a DJI osmo action cam 4 at the event:
I have more video to process, so I’ll be working on that this week.
