Wow that tweeter distortion looks significantly lower

I think I’ve finished voicing with the TW030WA22. I added a little series resistance to get a 3.9-4.0 ohm ranged value out front for the WA22.

So, for the TW030WA10, I used a 3.3 ohm resistor out front. The series cap after is 8.8 to 9.0uf range.

For the TW030WA22 I used a 3.9 ohm resistor out front. The series cap after is 8.9-9.2uF range.

For those who want to know the why, the WA22 is a hair more sensitive than the WA10 in the middle of its bandwidth. The WA10 has a higher Qts than the WA22, so the resonance peak to 2kHz range is higher output on the WA10.

With the Oscar and Fleming and John cuts from InDIYana 2025, I found the WA22 was harsh at higher outputs using the 3.3 ohm resistor. Granted, Oscar’s song is a bit brash normally. After adding the half ohm resistors, this was much better.
