Started this recently. Using that poly 7" woofer that’s on sale for $23 at Newark right now, and the buyout Wavecor tweeter from Madisound.
Somewhere in the neighborhood of 50hz F3. Good looking woofers.

The woofer is a tad wonky but usable. Spent all last night and all this morning playing and have come up with something good enough for a build of this nature.
Woofer has a bread and butter motor but distortion is still -45db or so above 50Hz so is low enough for me. It has a nice sound to it, and the bass while not super strong is surprisingly clean. I generally expect distortion to rise dramatically below 100Hz on smaller, cheaper drivers. This woofer is a decent value at standard pricing, but a steal at $23!!
I’ll draw up the cabinet dimensions later, I’m tired of DIY at this moment. Have to take a break and come back to it later today to see if I still like this crossover.

Woofers are dead nuts consistent to each other, some very minor variation in the tweeters but nothing to get too concerned about. Crossover slopes are approximately BW3 at 1500Hz.

I’ve noticed you’ve done a few BW3 recently. Is that a preference or just what worked on those projects?
Better off axis than LR, for the most part. As long as you avoid the 6db summation gain at xo point.
