Look what I bought this morning

A set of these vintage 10-hole alloys might look sharp. Not sure about fit, they are 4 lug though. Edit: Oops, never mind I see in the photo you have 5 lugs.

Those would look great! But yeah, 5 lug 4.5”.

I almost bought one of these small Ford Rangers brand new, off the lot, in 2011. I have to kick myself now for not having gone ahead with the purchase back then. It’s simply amazing how much the market has changed since then.

That reminds me. Not long before Ford dropped the Ranger.. I remember a local dealership had a line of them. They all had this goofy body color front bumper that looked like a factory SVT type part. They all appeard to be factory ride height, and no other side skirts or anything. Because it hung down so low it made them look like they had buck teeth. I can’t find any photos of that bumper/valance online. Makes me wonder if I made it up in my head. There was a Lowes behind the dealership so any time I drove by that side I’d see em.

For as long as that truck has lasted without rusting away, it deserves to be kept as stock as possible. It’s practically a museum piece. In some parts of the country, it is a point of pride to be able to keep an old vehicle spotless and running instead of turning it into a flashy thing or modified sleeper.
