Not to my knowledge either. I’ve attended every year since 2013. That should make things easier for attendees. Now we will not have to go back and forth to the showroom over the lunch break or other breaks to pick up drivers or parts.
I would not be surprised if “pick up drivers or parts.” is a no-go now since they are no longer doing even local pickup of online orders. We’ll see. With what is publicly known of the changes; The most I can realistically see them doing is having you order it from the website. The order picked and boxed while the warehouse folks are still there. Since the showroom guys would no longer be there to do it.
If they still wanted to continue the 20% off thing, maybe they would give everyone attending a 20% off one order promo code. Seems plausible, but I’m just speculating.
No, they have never had it AT PE. I suspect that decision was 2 fold. Church moved as Dave stated, and trying to spend less on the event itself.
They have had tours in the past go through the facility, and Jerry did a Labhorn demo in the ramp-bay in 2002, but that is all that has been done other than the tent sale in the past to my knowledge. It is possible that this could take place in the back half (?) of the building if the office arrangement has been changed. I don’t know if I’ve ever been in that section of the building. The work cubicles were all upstairs in the PE sector
last I knew. They could be utilizing Dayton Audio space I suppose.
I have already replied to Jill with a few questions about what has been discussed above, hoping for the best. 4 questions mainly; discount/pickup, room rate block, type of room, dimensions/treatment/size.
