Share your Christmas presents

Hope everyone had a good holiday. It was a huge year for me audio upgrade wise. I ended up getting a killer price on a pair of new in box REL subs on FB marketplace before Christmas as an early present. Also, extremely lucky for me my Dad upgraded his system to all Mac stuff so he donated some of his “older” stuff he wouldn’t be using to me for a Christmas gift. I got a few really nice upgrades to my system Krell preamp, a rotel preamp and an oppo Blu-ray player. I’m gonna need a better amp than my outlaw model 5000 now lol. The pc monitor is for the old video connection on the krell.)

my wife got me the component stand since nothing fits in the fireplace. I need to disassemble it and remove the back of it to fit my gear properly and be able to plug things in.

Craig S is doing a crossover on one of my old builds I failed to be able to get sounding good. Should be a relatively cheap and high spl 2-way.

The UltraDrive Pro doesn’t get nearly enough respect in the pro-audio field. I bought one when they first came out and it sure helped make the band’s horrible Carvin TCS-210 boxes sound less crappy.

3 sets of drill bits since my older ones are biting the dust. Brad point, and 2 sets of M35; triple fluted and step-tip.

HD gift card, Wibles certificate, Amazon gift card, and Applebee’s gift card for those types.

I’m counting my Epique tweeters as a Christmas gift too.

Woot! They had cool wood options there. Glad for you that’s going to be an annual gift. You’ll be able to grab some really cool stuff to build with

Got these yesterday from sis and BIL:

The Melinda’s ghost sauce is good! Nice heat with kick and build, smoke where I like it, and not much lime influence. I’ll use this a lot!

The Hot Ones has a strong Apricot/Lemon, and is not anything more than Medium heat to me. Like Medium restaurant acidic salsa basically.

The BEET and FRESNO is interesting. More thickness and good flavor. Fruity sweet in a way. Med-low heat.

Lola’s is cooked down quite a bit, low heat but smoky, not unlike chipotle. Basic mild salsa.

None of these would I consider Picante, but the Hot Ones is closer than the rest.
