Thank you for the quick reply
My Kaspersky Anti-Virus is telling me that this website is âuntrustworthyâ when I use Firefox, but not when I use Edge - strange, no? Thank you Geoff
Those error messages are due to SSL certificates that prove the legitimacy of a web site. My Firefox is usually very strict about this, and it is not giving an error on this site.
Thanks - if I do a Google Firefox search on âdiscourse MACâ, it lets me access the site, but wonât if I click on the email link. However, Iâm pretty sure this is a Firefox/Kaspersky issue, not an issue with this site.
Geoff
Maybe itâs a certificate update issue? I know on the systems I have the SSL shows certified by Letâs Encrypt, which is what it should show by design?
So the site is encrypted properly, and complies with certificate transparency, but ownership is not set. Iâll bet that is the problem:
I wonder if it is because underneath the hood to speak, I just changed our email sender to sendgrid to handle the volume of invites properly, and that account is brand new. Which would be why clicking from that email might trigger flags? Hmmm
Another strange issue to report, Iâm sorry. When I click on the link to this new site in the post on âClosing This Forumâ on the old site I get straight to this site. However, if I do a Firefox Google search on âDiscourse Mid West Audio Clubâ, or âMidwest Audio Clubâ, only the old site comes up; a bit strange.
Thanks
Geoff
Searching âdiscourse Midwest audio clubâ on google.com, returns the top four links to the new forum for me, then some of the old forum mixed in, so I canât replicate that at all.
Strange; Iâve bookmarked this site now, so no problem
Thanks
Geoff
