Posted here for evaluation and comment. I think maybe I should have turned down the volume a bit, but I heard no strain. I have barely ever used REW before (or really made any meaningful measurements) so please, all comments welcome.

This guy from Amazon (the 410mm one). I didn’t really need the iron or the tips, but it also came with some inserts which was nice. What I really liked about it though was that it includes what dimensions to 3D print for said inserts - I’m seeing this is not as common as I’d like it to be.
In any case, it’s a simple design that got the job done. If I make my own someday I’d want to have a greater reach, but I suppose given the dimensional constraints of my printer this will suffice for a while.
It’s been a minute since I could work on these. I decided wanted to wrap up cabinet design for the Mechano23, there is one blip in the impedance I’m still tracking down but the working theory is it’s the magnet itself vibrating off the plastic frame of the woofer.
In the meantime, I have printed a new cabinet (15%, 6 wall loops), new baffle (that needs reprinted as I neglected to resize the bolt holes for inserts), and new gaskets. The gaskets are now designed to surround each driver to fully isolate them from the baffle, plus it could add a nice ring of color depending on the TPU used, seen here in white on the scrap baffle I made.
Yes, I’m going with a faceted baffle despite the design calling for flat edges. I just think a faceted baffle looks a bit more visually interesting. I will run some sweeps to verify nothing dramatic has changed.
Ooh, that is a neat idea on the gasket. Black or charcoal baffle would really make a bright colored gasket “pop” and create a bold look. Would add a flare of personalization to a gift without being too over the top IMO.
