What is wrong with this guy? Sometimes I truly hate the Internet.
where can i get the low profile binding posts like those on the cab? The take only banana - no spades or bare wires, but also do not protrude out from the back, makes it much easier to lay down the speaker and transport in the car!!!

Apparently these are not suitable for a 3/4’” or thicker MDF cabinet?

No, I think I will use a 2” forstner bit to recess the inside so that the cabinet wall is about 1/4” thick where the posts will go. I’m using 3/4” MDF

Danny was quite rude to me when I solicited him for a door prize one year. Ever since, I really just have to laugh every time he opens his mouth.

I had an issue there too. Like JR, I inquired, and the first year was fine without issue. Second year that he complied and said he would, he blew me off and never sent anything, and would not respond to emails.
This coupled with the arguments he used to incite on the old Mad board, I’ve not taken stock in much from him since then.
He definitely comes across as arrogant and condescending, like he’s gods gift to speaker designers. I’ve personally never talked to him but have watched more than enough of his videos.

I forced myself to watch the whole video. By the end I felt like the Shamwow guy had reinvented Bose with boutique-ish drivers using his incredible experience and expertise. YMMV.
I watch his videos, mainly because I like to see how commercial speakers measure. I don’t care too much where he goes with them. This and his latest WAW type speakers has inspired me to try a rear firing tweeter. I like to watch a variety of speaker videos to get ideas for future builds. I have never heard one before, and thought it would be worth trying. That will be my next build.
I would like to hear them before deciding.
I think he will ship a pair to you ( he needs your CC # ) for eval . Dont quote me though.

Me too. It’s amazing how poorly some of the popular speakers measure. Unfortunately, Danny never gives any specifics about his crossover design process, other than hawking the high markup stuff he happens to sell. Pretty sad that he has to bash the folks at ASR after Amir basically made fun of that little full-ranger.
I’m sure the speakers sound fine, he is just a douche sometimes. Also, snake oil.
