Yay for me, had my first resistance training day at the gym in quite some time. Wrist went through it like a champ, no tenderness or soreness - just some weakness. Did light weights at high reps (4x10) to help condition for future heavier lifting.
On to some sawdust tomorrow afternoon!

Yep, on Tuesday at my final visit to the Ortho I was granted “patient of the day” for my gains in wrist flexibility. Now I just need to regain strength, specially in my forearm, wrist, and hand. That shouldn’t take too long, just gotta hit the gym regular.

Was aware, but as is so typical, CLOUDS. September is a great time for Milky Way photography if you can find dark skies and no competition from the moon. Alas, the clear skies just don’t seem to be in the cards.

Great news, everybody. I landed a job! Been a long stressful six months - unfortunately in my line of work it can take a while between jobs. It is with a smaller, up and coming chemical manufacturer in desperate need of a maintenance manager. Initially I will work exclusively at one of their five facilities with the intention of rolling out maintenance programs in the other locations. We make primarily agricultural and other large scale application products.
One downside is it a clean shaven mandate due to respirator fitment requirements. Bye bye beard 
Anyways, the money is right and the benefits are just fine. Plenty of PTO and six days of paid sick time. All I have to do is what I’ve done a few times before and build a maintenance program essentially from scratch. After I’m done with this facility, I’ll fly out to one of locations in Florida, Alabama, Texas, or Arizona.
I’m fairly stoked about this opportunity. I’ll finally be able to buy those Motus 8”!

Went to a concert last night up in Covington Ky @ the Madison Theater.
Fantastic time!! I mainly went to see Helmet, but the one opener Savage Master put on a really good show! Then of course, headlining, GWAR…I stayed well away from the mess they inflicted on the front of house.
