Yes, here too. I texted my daughter last Saturday that winter was FINALLY over here in Western Michigan…I guess I was wrong. I think I’ve switched from heat, to AC, and back three times in the last month.

Snow on May 1st, yeah, I’ve seen that before. It has been a while since though…
As a kid back in the 60’s it wasn’t unheard-of to get a light snow in early June in Ottawa.
Kinda’ cool down here for this time of year with lows dropping into the upper 30’s next couple nights in the hills of Northern Alabama.
No, frost this time of year around here is not unheard of, but neither is 90 degree days. Guess which I’d rather have 
That is a very tough decision for me. I hate the heat. But then again, around here that heat comes with high humidity.
You can always put on more clothes. Can’t always take more off.

I got a craftsman 6.5hp self propelled push mower 10 years ago from a guy off craigslist for $50. I guess it was tired enough for him to upgrade, but I fixed it up and got plenty more use out of it. She’d smoke a little when I gave 'er a hot supper but kept going like a champ! Well, after some more break/fixes off and on the past few years.. the push bar handle finally cracked and snapped today. I decided no more repairing, I’ll finally replace it. I picked up Menard’s 2nd cheapest unit. The Pulsar 21" 2-in-1 200cc. Since it has a mulcher blockoff and blade, as well as the taller rear wheels that I feel will help sliding along the chainlink fence.
I’m afraid to say I like it. It feels like half the weight and has gobs o power to plow through the tall stuff. I finished up and wasn’t huffing and puffing like I normally am.. Now, to see how it lasts the rest of the season and into next year. EPA regs have been leaning out the carbs alot. Meaning there is little room for buildup to occur in the jets before they just won’t run reliably at all.

I bought a Hart (Walmart brand) 40V mower a couple years ago. I’ll never go back to gas.

Looking at an 80V tiller for my wife. Sick and tired of mixing/storing one off gas (my chain saw uses a different mix). Looking at the Mastercraft house brand at Menards. Hard to find online reviews.
My cheap electric has balls to spare, is very lightweight, and I can do my yard on a single battery - it came with two. Downside is battery life is probably limited and replacement batteries will cost what a new mower will. Next one I buy will be a better name brand, EGo maybe.
I tried pushing my diesel Kubota but it was too much work.
