I think in place of the MP011860 I might try the Peerless FSL-0512 midrange. Unsure what tweeter to use that would match the affordability of these drivers though.

Grab that $15 buyout 22mm Wavecor tweeter on Cinergy Audio and rather than mess with a custom waveguide, just print a standard faceplate. (Or use the Augerpro CSS waveguide traw posted above).

They are back to $42, still a very high value woofer. Nicely done guys, maybe they will keep them around.

Heh… my youngest son wasn’t sure what little trinket to give me for my bday (6/1), he had a one off Pop figure made of me one year. This year he was like hmmm, i see partsexpress boxes time to time. So he got me a PE gift certificate.
Yay, have some misc stuff sitting in my cart like denim lining but prob wait till actually “need” something. Seems sales n promo’s have reduced, probably as part of new ownership. Company I work for has also trimmed back frequent promotional discounting with new CEO about year back.

I ordered 4 woofers from Newark on the 29th, they have been lost since the 1st. Did the online chat then the e-mails then phone calls. I finally have a credit but I requested replacements. One of the worst customer service experiences of my life.

I’ve had some really bizarre shipping experiences lately. I bought a spool of speaker cable from Monoprice that could have gone from Cinci to Des Moines quicker by bicycle courier. That’s a very direct route and it still isn’t at my doorstep.

I ordered a used import CD from a seller on Amazon that originated in Phoenix. After a few days in appeared in Indianapolis. From there it went to Evansville, then Nashville before another hiatus put it in Olathe, KS. After nearly 2 weeks it appears as “Out for delivery” this morning, but some touring bands see less of the country in 2 weeks.

Some may remember that I ordered 1 pair CB25ND tweeters from “MeloDavid” in Jan 2026.

They measured “funky” and I returned them on Feb 19 and requested a refund. Never got a refund, and now he has blacklisted me (again). So for me, he is a goner. Happy to spend more in the US for quality and good customer service.

Anyone else notice some Peerless products are disappearing from PE, and others have been listed as ‘clearance’ for a while? Example would be the NE149 - the 8 ohm is clearanced and the 4 ohm just doesn’t show anymore.
