Axpona 2026

Howdy folks. I want to call Liz and ask for the early bird + 10% off pricing code. Any chance we can get an approximate number of tix wanted? Even if you “might” attend, I want to include you in the headcount. I plan to call her on Monday, so what chu got?

+1 if you haven’t already called.

Hi all. I’ve requested a discount code for 10 more tix. Let’s see what Liz comes up with.

Thanks Bryan, missed replying to this thread

Hey all. This code AGKFT3V will provide a decent discount for multi-day and single day passes. No clue how long it will last so…….. git on it!

If you’re a Gen-z’er I don’t want to hear any shit about not having a discount applied to your bucket. :upside_down_face:

Just got my tickets. The dicount code is still working, if you have been procastinating or just plain forgot!!!

Also note, kids under 14 are free, but you do need to add a pass - if you have a young one who’s wondering whats all the fuss about huge ugly noise making boxes all over the house, when a tiny bluetooh speaker is just fine and they light up and take voice commands!

Can’t believe it’s only a little over two weeks away. I’m looking forward to a long weekend that’s for sure.

Good advice, Ani. Avoid the elevators. Once up to the top in the AM, and stairs down the rest of the day!

I plan to attend on Friday.

Last year most of you missed upstart Chesky Audio. He is in room 709 this year. David Chesky’s son, Lucca, is a college student and basically a DIYer gone commercial. Give him a listen this year and report please.

3D printed dual wall gel filled enclosure.

Chesky have presented the 2 previous years, first didn’t go well. This would be year 3, to my knowledge.

Did you hear them? What did you think of them?

I hope the 3rd is better than the previous 2 editions.

Here is a review for those who put weight on the objective measurements.

From a DIY’ers perspective, the LC1 pairs the ND28F and Dayton Classic [EDIT: I think it is a GRS woofer] in a $1,000 speaker. But I have no issues with companies making good money if they design something good. But the inexpensive drivers were identified on the forums and the LC2 uses the Dayton Silkie mounted behind the baffle and the RS180P with a dust-cap placed over the phase plug for $2,000. Again, if it sounds good, then good for Chesky, but I’m not impressed as I think there are several people on MAC that could design better speakers with those drivers.

Woof. That ASR thread on the LC1 is brutal.

Which Courtyard, JR?
