Every monkey coffin fan around should be gobbling up a quad or two of these. BTW, how much volume do two, or four for that matter, need for a ported enclosure?
I succumbed despite only couple hours ago saying wallet closed on general chat. Snagged 4, shouldâve looked if needed any electrical components but meh. Figuring an experiment with a PRV compression driver and celestion horn that been sitting on the shelf in the basement, someday. Hoping can do a 1.2-1.5khz xover point, have some OG minidsp boards can throw at it. Backyard speakers to piss off neighbors heh.
Also been contemplating taking a 5cuft box in basement âgymâ to rebaffle and brace to utilize Lab12C - now thatâd really test neighbors patience, especially if my 24 yr old pot head son gets gets carried away back there.

Best figure on 1 ~ 1.2 cu ft per driver if going passive XO and 0.7 ~ 0.8 for active . . .
If I remember right, a standard ported response is about 1.2cf each, but I think the F3 was in the upper 40s. If you give it more room to breath it can dig well deeper, but you give up some sensitivity to do it.
Seems right. I put singles in 1.25 cu. ft. a while back.

Good, comparable to the F8âs that were in the same boxes earlier. I paired the 55-5670 with Dayton RST28âs and the combo in that box could play LOUD.
